So,
I love Sciroccos more than anything....and have loved them for my
entire life (literally), and so I have been thinking about getting a Mk
1 tattooed on my back for quite some time now. Well, in light of
very near Scirocco gatherings, I decided now was the time, and went off
to get a tattoo.....
Before finding an artist, I photoshopped up some pictures I took of my back with the Scirocco image superimposed onto it:
It would need to share my back with my other tattoo...no, that isn't
Puff the Magic Dragon...it is Trafalgar True, a character from the
Serendipity Books Collection who is willing to sacrifice his life to
save everyone else from impending doom.....I find that noble.....:
After consulting with a Scirocco person many, many, many miles away
from here (Thank you Andrew!!) The Scirocco image you see above was
decided on.
I went with the above pictures in hand and found a tat shop by the name of Tattoo Evolution with an artist by the name of Sean
(who is actually into Novas....but at least he is into a particular
type of car...even had a tattoo accross his fingers N-O-V-A...hmmmm.....wonder S-C-I-R-O C-C-O...nah). A
mere 2.5 very painful hours later...and it was done:
.....I will be returning for a few touchups after a couple of
months....I was eager to be done with it to say the least....and it
didn't feel all that great to just be sitting there even.....
All that red that you see there is blood which they had to wipe away and then very quickly get the shot in.....
And the healing process continues....I will be taking more pics once everything is healed....
...or I will take some pics right now...
Okay, got home from work today and took off the bandage to find this:
Got it all cleaned up and this is how it looks now < 12 hours afterwards:

Okay, NOW that is all until it heals.....
UPDATE:
SO, I have gotten questions as to what I look like from the
front.......and I will just take that to mean, clothed from the front
since my mind isn't in the gutter.....
AND, I have gotten some people yapping about "tattoos are
permanent....blah...blah" and so I want to show that they look just
fine....and only need to be seen when I want them to be seen....
BUT, the PRIMARY reason for these pics is that I want people to know
that I am a GIRL!!!! Not a guy! Wondering what the hell I
am talking about?:

...and the back side (with shirt on this time!)
....I think the tats look just fine....and you can see that if I
weren't wearing a halter top, they wouldn't be seen (I do not typically
wear halter tops....or anything of that sort)
But what you can't tell from all of those pics is I really have long
hair....I just typically find it to be more practical to wear it pulled
back and tucked up......
I also have a third tattoo.....
So finally....here is what I look like from the front..........and that is my third tattoo.
.....so now everyone who bothers to look at this page knows what I look like........
Wasn't going to have any pics of me on my website but because
people
seem to have some burning curiosity as to my appearance and whether or
not I am a guy (somehow the Kirsten and funksoulkitty bits don't phase
'em in this notion)....this should take care of that....or at least I
would hope so!! If you can't tell that I am of the female variety
NOW, um....well....eh...hmm....don't know what I would say to that.

I would just like to point out exactly why it came up in the first
place (whether or not the pics on here were bad...): I have found
the link to this page on several different forums or the like, and the
latest one was most definitely not the nicest....as some of them have
not been:
I believe it was an attempt to make me feel better ("it isn't YOU
Kirsten...it is the pics....."), but nevertheless, I just wanted to
clarify to those viewing this page that I AM NOT
some conceited "love pics of myself and think they are so great" sort
of chick at all!! NOT in any way shape and form.....couldn't be
further from the truth....... exact opposite!!!!!!!!
